All of the women I photograph are real, everyday women. Most of the time, my clients haven’t spent much time in front of the camera when they walk into my studio. And that’s totally ok! Boudoir by Ria is a luxury experience, and we take care of everything, right down to teaching you how to strike a pose.

If you look through my gallery or on my Insta, you might be surprised that not a single client really knew what to do. But unlike other photographers who expect you to pose yourself, I make sure that you are supported in every step of the posing process. Here’s what we do.

1. We send you tips and tricks

Whether this is your first photo shoot or your hundredth, we don’t want you to be flying blind! Through our phone consultation, wardrobe consult, and lots of emails and texts, we make sure you have the best posing tips (and time to practice!) before hitting the studio floor. One of our fave pieces of advice? Practice your sexiest face in the mirror on the morning of your session.

2. We make sure you’re comfortable

On the day of your session, there’s a lot of excitement and adrenaline. The second you step into my studio, it’s all hands on deck to make sure you are super comfortable. From champagne to a tailored playlist, to the best glam squad in Atlanta, we make sure you are ready to be beautifully vulnerable.

3. We guide you through every single pose

When I say I’m your pose coach, I mean it. First, I create a flow specifically for you based on our prep conversations. That way we get the exact vibe you want. During the session, I pose first to demonstrate, and then gently guide you as you strike a pose. So I don’t just talk to the talk, I walk the walk.
