One of the most exciting decisions you get to make as a boudoir client is: What versions of your sexiness will you be highlighting in our studio? We know choosing just one look is impossible, so during your session you will have time to wear three outfits. As you’re selecting what you want to wear (which I can totally help you with), the secret to an amazing look is all about the accessories! Here are some of the best accessories you can bring to your session.

SHOES

A good pair of shoes can bring your look to a whole new level. Everything under a camera is highlighted so you’ll probably want a new pair of shoes (yay new shoes!). Heels, sandals, boots, sneakers… whatever style you choose will help bring the heat. And don’t worry, you don’t have to keep your shoes on the whole time! Barefoot babe shots are delish. 

RINGS

A little bit of razzle dazzle really adds something special to your portraits. It doesn’t have to be the real stuff; costume jewelry will do just the trick. It’s a small detail that will go a long way. In my opinion, it’s the best piece of jewelry to bring.

HATS

Be it a wide-brimmed hat or a fedora, a hat adds a pop of your personality to your fit. It’s a dynamic accessory for a close-up or a wide shot, it looks great on your head or as something to hold, it adds contrasting lines… ok, I’ll stop. Hats, headpieces and headwraps bring a sense of mystery and whimsy to the studio.

OVERSIZED SHIRT

I just love this because it’s a touch of conservativeness in juxtaposition with the bombastic feminine that comes out in the studio. My clients have brought some of the best shirts- silky, shiny, work shirts, the list truly goes on and on. Because it can be the only piece you have on or a layering piece, it’s a really fun addition to any look.
