You can be sultry, dangerous, classic, angelic, or playful. There’s a lot to decide. If you feel a little lost in trying to narrow down your vibe, don’t worry! Here are a few ideas to help get your creativity flowing.

Reflect on your fave romantic movie

We all have a clip from a movie that lives rent-free in our heads. Is it a 1940s vibe a la The Notebook? Do you love the delicious 90s look in Poetic Justice? Or is a Bridgerton-esque Regency period piece your thing? Whatever your favorite movie or series about love is, draw on what you love about that aesthetic. You can’t go wrong paying homage to your heart.

Incorporate your hobbies

Your inner goddess is on full display in your boudoir session, and you should show off your nuances. Are you a musician? Do you love to read? Is your free time spent following your favorite sports team? Celebrate your uniqueness and find inspiration in what fuels your soul.

List your icons

Whether it’s Beyonce, Josephine Baker, Diana Ross, Audrey Hepburn, or Michelle Obama, identify who inspires you. You can draw on their look, vibe, or attitude at a specific event. The inspiration will help guide you in deciding on your overall boudoir look (ie sexy, sweet, or both!), outfits, and accessories.

Don’t shy away from sexual fantasies

Boudoir doesn’t have to be about sex, but it’s incredibly sultry to capture your fantasies in real life. If you’ve always wanted to have a femme-fetal look, be an uncompromising dominatrix, or try bondage, we can bring your wildest dreams to life.
