Every single woman deserves to be able to see how phenomenal they truly are. In Miss F’s case, she was extremely shy, and doing a boudoir shoot was really stepping out of her comfort zone. Despite her nervousness, she showed up. Read Miss F’s testimony below.

“I have always been extremely self-conscious of my face and body, and I contemplated backing out a number of times. I was even contemplating canceling while I was on the road to Atlanta. I’ve never felt adequate or attractive… someone that I trusted once told me that there was nothing about me that commanded anyone’s attention when I entered a room. That stuck with me and is always in the back of my mind. I am glad I garnered the courage to go through with my shoot, it has certainly changed my perspective on some things. I cried when I got to my car after my shoot. They were tears of joy.

I’ve never done a boudoir shoot before, and the ones I have seen had a very “Lady Marmalade” kind of burlesque vibe. I knew I didn’t want that. I wanted sexy simplicity- clean lines and shadows. My photos make me feel courageous. I was able to tap into my womanhood and it was magnified with every pose, curve, and click of the camera. That day I harnessed my power and confidence.

The experience exceeded my expectations. It was not just a dry pose and snap a photo, step and repeat. Ria establishes a connection with you and it’s almost like you are in a zone, not just in her studio taking photos. It’s another world. The magic happened from the time I stepped foot in the door!

I needed to do this for me, and I was tired of living in the “what ifs”. 2021 has been a year of clarity and a first for me. I am always the giver and I feel guilty when it’s time to take something that’s just mine… something that I am not obliged to share with anyone unless I chose to. This shoot represents that for me. My shoot was one of my firsts, but definitely not my last.

My advice for those who have not booked a session would be, “book it now, Sis!” Every woman deserves to experience this at least once in her life. It’s a beautiful, empowering, fulfilling experience that is customized just for you. I am probably the most prudish, inhibited person I know. If I can do it, you can do it. We are all different with our flaws, shapes and unique features; but we are all beautiful. There is nothing to be nervous about… embrace it.”
