A boudoir experience is something every womxn should book at least once in her life! But boudoir can be very intimate and personal. We all want to support our friends and family on their boudoir journey, but we also want to respect their privacy and comfort boundaries. Here are four boudoir gift ideas to ensure your bff is celebrated in the perfect way.
This is perfect for your loved one who has been dragging her feet on choosing a date and just needs a little nudge to actually do the session.
If you’ve never worked with a professional photographer, let me explain what the retainer fee is. The retainer is what you pay for the shoot itself- i.e. the studio expenses and the photographer’s time. Most studios, including ours, require it upon booking a session. The retainer fee at Boudoir by Ria covers the wardrobe consultation, session, professional hair and makeup, and everything that goes with the experience. The photos themselves are purchased separately, and your loved one would be responsible for that purchase.
This is perfect for the person who likes support and may feel a little overwhelmed with what to wear.
In our studio, you get to wear up to three outfits during your time in front of the camera. You don’t have to choose between being sultry and angelic- you can be both! Choosing lingerie or any kind of outfit can feel intimidating. A fun, supportive gift that aligns with your bff’s self-love journey is an outfit. Go with them to your favorite sexy shop and have a blast together! If you would like a more personalized experience, our studio features a lingerie boutique where I can help you two shop. You don’t have to be one of my clients to do this, but the personal shopping experience is by appointment only.
This is perfect for the person who has already booked a session but might be stingy with themselves.
When it comes to your boudoir portraits, there are a million ways to display them. The album of images can be simple and elegant. But it can also be personalized and have guided edges, a diamond cover, velvet pages, and more. We also offer wall art, playboy style magazines, an image peepshow, a custom phone app… the list goes on. Your loved one should feel comfortable getting exactly what she wants, and the gift of an upgrade can ensure that.
This is a perfect group fund idea for the person who already has everything.
Most studios, including Boudoir by Ria, have image bundles that vary by the number of portraits. After the boudoir session, I show my clients their portraits and they get to choose the images the want. And it can be really hard to narrow down favorites! A gift fund would ensure a certain threshold for your loved one and allow her to fully immerse herself in the images.
